Celebrate the Fourth With Fireworks and America the Beautiful

    TV celebrates Independence Day with a host of special programming, including NBC's Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, public broadcasting's annual A Capitol Fourth special, and a new Michael B. Jordan-narrated docuseries focused on America's many natural wonders. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy this July 4th holiday:

    Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular: Special presentation. For the 46th year in a row, Macy’s lights up the sky above New York City with a major fireworks display. Performances include “The Star-Spangled Banner” by the United States Army Soldiers’ Chorus, and “Lift Every Voice and Sing” featuring Kenny Lattimore and the Community Baptist Church Choir. 8:00 PM ET on NBC and Streaming on Peacock

    America the Beautiful: Complete docuseries. The team behind Planet Earth tells the story of America’s amazing animals and diverse ecosystems in this six-episode docuseries narrated by Michael B. Jordan. The series aims to inspire audiences to preserve the precious habitats and inhabitants found in our own backyards. Watch trailer. Streaming on Disney+

    A Capitol Fourth: Special presentation. Country music star Mickey Guyton, who performed the National Anthem at Super Bowl LV, hosts the 42nd annual edition of the Washington D.C.-based firework and concert special. Guyton will also perform alongside Andy Grammer, Gloria Gaynor, Jake Owen, and the National Symphony Orchestra. 8:00 PM ET on PBS, with an encore to follow

    CMT Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th: Special presentation. CMT brings the largest fireworks show in Nashville history to the masses with a special event headlined by Old Dominion, Gramps Morgan, and Cassadee Pope. A portion of the concert and the entirety of the fireworks show will air at 10:00 PM ET on CMT

    Below Deck Mediterranean: Season 7 premiere. Captain Sandy Yawn and a primarily new crew (with the exception of Season 6 favorite Mzi “Zee” Dempers) set sail in the Mediterranean aboard M/Y Malta for another season of yachtie drama. Season 7 premieres on Peacock a week ahead of its linear debut next Monday on Bravo. Watch trailer. Streaming on Peacock

    Irma Vep: New episode. As Mira (Alicia Vikander) films an abduction scene for the film, René (Vincent Macaigne) finds his future in doubt. 9:00 PM ET on HBO

    The Great American Tag Sale With Martha Stewart: Encore presentation. Martha Stewart invites celebrities and neighbors to sift through pieces from her vast collection in this hour-long special shot at Stewart's Bedford, New York, estate. Watch preview. 8:00 PM ET on ABC

    The American Rescue Dog Show: Encore presentation. Rescued pups from across the country compete in seven categories, including Best In Underbite and Best In Belly Rubs, for a chance to be named the Best In Rescue. A $100,000 donation will be made to a local animal welfare organization in honor of the winner. With hosts Rob Riggle and Joe Tessitore, sideline correspondent Monica McNutt, and a bevy of celebrity guests. Watch preview. 9:00 PM ET on ABC
