Emmy Rossum Transforms Into Angelyne, Atlanta Season 3 Wraps

    It’s a day of premieres and finales, as Emmy Rossum and Peacock tell the story of Los Angeles billboard icon Angeleyne and Atlanta concludes its Europe-set third season. Plus, Legendary kicks off Season 3 on HBO Max, and finale week continues on broadcast TV with the season-enders of Law & Order, Station 19, and Young Sheldon. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Thursday:

    Angelyne: Complete limited series. Emmy Rossum transforms into Los Angeles legend Angelyne in this five-episode limited series about the self-made pop culture icon. Martin Freeman, Alex Karpovsky, and Hamish Linklater also star. Read our review. Streaming on Peacock

    Atlanta: Season 3 finale. As Primetimer's Aaron Barnhart writes, if you haven't been watching Donald Glover’s acclaimed dramedy this season, you're missing out. The series returns for its final season this fall. 10:00 PM ET on FX

    The G Word with Adam Conover: Complete first season. Comedian Adam Conover pulls back the curtain on the surprising ways the U.S. government impacts our everyday lives in this hybrid comedy-documentary series. Barack and Michelle Obama serve as executive producers, and the former president makes an appearance to teach Conover about “Change.” Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

    A Perfect Pairing: Original film. Hoping to land a major client, a hard-driving wine company exec (Victoria Justice) travels to an Australian sheep station, where she ends up working as a ranch hand and sparking with a rugged local (Sex/Life’s Adam Demos). Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

    Legendary: Season 3 premiere. Keke Palmer joins the judging panel as a new group of talented voguing houses showcase their skill, style, and stamina on the runway. Three episodes drop today. Watch trailer. Streaming on HBO Max

    Law & Order: Season 21 finale. After the murder of an off-duty NYPD detective, Cosgrove (Jeffrey Donovan) mourns the loss of a friend and asks Capt. Benson (SVU star Mariska Hargitay) for help solving the case. McCoy (Sam Waterston) and Price (Hugh Dancy) disagree on how to prosecute the culprit, sparking sharp condemnation from all sides. Followed by the season finales of Law & Order: SVU and Organized Crime. Watch preview. 8:00 PM ET on NBC

    Station 19: Season 5 finale. Andy (Jaina Lee Ortiz) tracks down a witness to testify at her trial. Meanwhile, Carina (Stefania Spampinato) and Maya (Danielle Savre) deal with a stressful situation, and the crew responds to a car wreck. Watch preview. 8:00 PM ET on ABC

    Young Sheldon: Season 5 finale. As Sheldon (Iain Armitage) struggles to cope with the first signs of puberty, Mary (Zoe Perry) and George Sr. (Lance Barber) hunt for new jobs, and Georgie (Montana Jordan) and Meemaw (Annie Potts) take a business trip across the border.     United States of Al: Series finale. Riley (Parker Young) comes clean to Freddy (Brian Thomas Smith) about his relationship with Vanessa (Kelli Goss), and Cindy (Jayma Mays) grows increasingly possessive of Al (Adhir Kalyan). The Chuck Lorre sitcom was not renewed for a third season, so tonight’s episode will serve as its last. Watch preview. 8:30 PM ET on CBS

    Big Sky: Season 2 finale. Final resolutions are made as Jenny (Katheryn Winnick) works to find Travis (Logan Marshall-Green) before he reaches a dangerous point of no return.     Halo: Season 1 finale. Paramount+’s live action take on the iconic video game comes to an end after nine episodes. The series has already been renewed for a second season. Streaming on Paramount+

    Made For Love: Season 2 finale. Hazel’s (Cristin Milioti) fight to save her father’s life reaches a dramatic climax in the final two episodes of the season. Streaming on HBO Max

    Hacks: New episodes. Ava (Hannah Einbinder) tries to adapt to a new lifestyle, while Deborah (Jean Smart) continues workshoping her material. Later, when a booking mishap lands them on the wrong cruise, Deborah struggles to connect with her audience, and Ava finds herself an unexpected hit. Streaming on HBO Max

    The Offer: New episode. Ruddy (Miles Teller) deals with the fallout from the disastrous press conference, while Evans (Matthew Goode) creates a plan to save Paramount. Bettye (Juno Temple) takes action as the first day of filming is compromised due to collisions with Gulf & Western, Paramount, and the Mafia. Streaming on Paramount+

    The Photographer: Murder in Pinmar: Original documentary. Argentinian filmmaker Alejandro Hartmann examines the murder of photojournalist José Luis Cabezas and the political and financial conspiracy it exposed. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

    NHL Playoffs: The second round of the Stanley Cup finals continues with two games, airing back-to-back on TNT:

    • Tampa Bay Lightning at Florida Panthers 7:00 PM ET/4:00 PM PT

    NBA Playoffs: The Miami Heat host the Boston Celtics in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals. 8:30 PM ET/5:30 PM PT on ESPN
