NBC Lights Up The Holidays with Christmas in Rockefeller Center

    Like most everything this year, tonight's annual Christmas Tree lighting at Rockefeller Center is set to look a bit different — and we're not talking about that scraggly tree. For one thing, the two-hour live telecast will not feature an in-person audience. For another, viewers will be encouraged to donate to Red Nose Day in support of children and families facing hunger and food insecurity this holiday season.

    Also tonight: The super six take to The Masked Singer stage for the semi-finals, the Rockettes bring their annual Radio City Christmas Spectacular home, and HBO's Baby God profiles the Las Vegas fertility doctor who impregnated untold numbers of women with his own sperm. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Wednesday:

    HOLIDAY SPECIAL: The stars are turning out for the 88th Annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center tree lighting ceremony, with performances by Dolly Parton, Meghan Trainor, Kelly Clarkson, Brett Eldredge, Tori Kelly, Goo Goo Dolls, Leslie Odom Jr., Dan & Shay, the cast of Broadway's Ain't Too Proud, and the Radio City Rockettes. 8:00 PM ET on NBC

    HOLIDAY SPECIAL: The annual stage extravaganza has been cancelled for the first time since 1933, but the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes At Home Holiday Special is bringing all the seasonal cheer to viewers' living rooms beginning at 10:00 PM ET on NBC

    NEW EPISODE: The family celebrates Hanukkah at sea when Pop-Pop (Judd Hirsch) surprises The Goldbergs with a winter cruise to Canada Meanwhile, Erica (Hayley Orrantia) stirs up holiday trouble. 8:00 PM ET on ABC
