    Cate Blachett leads a veritable who's who of film and television performers in Mrs. America, the new nine-part docudrama on the Equal Rights Amendment premiering today on FX on Hulu. Also today: Netflix takes the wraps of its latest teen drama, The Masked Singer airs an hour-long sing-along special, and family visits provide a welcome reprieve for Survivor's winners at war. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Wednesday:

    MINISERIES PREMIERE: It may be set in the 1970s, but Primetimer's Aaron Barnhart says FX’s star-studded extravaganza Mrs. America is 2020's most 2020 TV show yet. The new historical miniseries details the stunning backlash against the Equal Rights Amendment spearheaded by the buttoned-up conservative agitator, Phyllis Schlafly (played by Cate Blanchett). Rose Byrne, Sarah Paulson, Margo Martindale, James Marsden, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Elizabeth Banks, Tracey Ullman, and John Slattery costar. Read our review. Streaming on FX on Hulu
