    Afer a modest performance last year, a second season renewal for The CW's promising football drama All American was far from a sure thing. But renewed it was, a decision that seems to have since been justified by a strong run on Netflix this summer, sparking buzz that it could the next show to follow in the footsteps of shows like Breaking Bad and The Good Place, which managed to build momentum in between seasons and ultimately become hits thanks to the streaming giant.

    SEASON PREMIERE: After winning the state championship, All American presents Spencer with the challenge of changing his reputation. At the same time, Billy is also facing the need to adapt if he wants his life to go the way he envisions. 8:00 PM ET on The CW

    SEASON PREMIERE: In a potential show of confidence, Black Lightning's season premiere was recently pushed up two weeks. Another addition to the network's ever-growing Greg Berlanti superhero franchise, the season opener finds Jefferson and Lynn in the clutches of the ASA.
