Primetimer's editors break down what's new and noteworthy on television today.

If you've missed Love Island, the new five-nights-a-week CBS reality series, you're not alone. A huge hit in its native UK, the US version debuted earlier this week to disappointing ratings, sparking early speculation that CBS could pull the plug on the series before crowning a victor  and/or reduce the number of nights it airs.

Instead, for now it seems the network is doubling down, choosing late this week to add yet another hour of the show to their primetime schedule tonight, a repeat of the show's second episode.

ENCORE PRESENTATION: Wednesday night's episode of Love Island was the series' most action-packed to date, with Kyra choosing her man, Caro in full meltdown mode, and the introduction of two hunky new Islanders. 8:00 PM ET on CBS

CABLE PREMIERE: HBO's big Saturday Night movie premiere this week is Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald, in which Eddie Redmayne and Johnny Depp are joined by Jude Law, making his debut as a young Albus Dumbledore. 8:00 PM ET on HBO

BROADCAST PREMIERE: In anticipation of Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw in a few weeks, NBC is airing Furious 7, the 2015 installment in the lucrative film franchise that featured the final performance of series star Paul Walker, along with regulars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, and the first credited appearance by Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw. 8:00 PM ET on NBC

SERIES PREMIERE: Three years since her namesake show went off the air, legal commentator and TV lightning rod Nancy Grace returns to the airwaves in Injustice With Nancy Grace.
