It has been nearly twenty months since the last new episode of Game of Thrones aired. Since then we’ve had a midterm election, two new Super Bowl champions, and an entire relationship between Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson came and went. In many ways, we’re all very different people than the last time we visited Westeros. To varying degrees, Game of Thrones fans have spent the last several weeks trying to re-orient themselves and get back up to speed. Where did we leave off? Sansa and Arya had played a grand fake-out on Littlefinger, executing him; Jon Snow and Daenerys ended up in bed together, neither of them realizing they are nephew and aunt (making them the least incestuous royal pairing on this show); and, of course, an ice-zombie dragon blasted a hole through the Wall, meaning that now we’re more excited than ever to see that opening-credits map.

Are there other things on TV tonight besides the Westerosi Wrap-Up Hour? Of course there are! It’s a Sunday night; there will always be way too many good things for one human to watch at the same time. But tonight does mark one of the increasingly few Events Nights on TV that isn’t a sporting or awards event. Gather ‘round the hearth, everyone, and see how many people Arya kills tonight.

SEASON PREMIERE: It’s finally here! The six episodes that will close out Game of Thrones begin tonight. HBO hasn’t released a title for the episode, much less a plot description, but you have to imagine we’ve got a six-part battle between the warring factions of humans and the singularly dead-eyed White Walkers. Best of luck, puny humans! 9:00 PM ET on HBO

NEW EPISODE: NBC’s Good Girls has been, if nothing else, a great showcase for the talents of Christina Hendricks, Mae Whitman, and Retta. On tonight’s episode, Beth (Hendricks) is forced to take her kids out on a job for Rio, while Ruby (Retta) crosses a line and can’t go back. 10:00 PM ET on NBC

NEW EPISODE: Remember last week, when Killing Eve was the Game of Thrones for one night? Tonight, the second season continues, as Eve gets a new team and Villanelle finds some poor, unsuspecting soul to take care of her. 10:00 PM ET on BBC America and AMC

NEW EPISODE: The reunion episodes for The Real Housewives of Atlanta carry on, and maybe we’ll finally get to the bottom of how Nene apparently hates … everybody now? 9:00 PM ET on Bravo

    ALSO TONIGHT

    • Veep is getting closer to Selina’s first debate, though first she makes a most unusual campaign proposal. 10:00 PM ET on HBO
    • Barry sees Bill Hader’s title character revisiting his past. 10:30 PM ET on HBO
    • Watch What Happens Live will follow the Atlanta Housewives reunion by welcoming Eva Marcille and the long-absent Miss Lawrence. 10:00 PM ET on Bravo
