Fans Spot Patrick Warburton in The Bachelorette Hometown Dates Preview

Turns out the Seinfeld actor is related to one of the men.
  • Eagle-eyed viewers of Monday's episode of The Bachelorette were suprised to see a familiar face in the preview for next week's hometown dates: Seinfeld and Family Guy actor, Patrick Warburton.

Warburton, who has been acting since the 1980s, is probably best known for playing Elaine's (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) on-again-off-again boyfriend, Puddy, on Seinfeld. He's also starred in shows like The Tick, Rules of Engagement, and A Series of Unfortunate Events and loaned his voice to animated characters on series like Family Guy, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, and Kim Possible. Disney fans may also recognize Warburton as the voice of Kronk in The Emperor's New Groove.

After catching a glimpse of someone who looked like Warburton in the trailer for next week, fans posted to Twitter to see if they were right in assuming that one of the family members was the famous actor. "Did anyone else see Patrick Warburton on that preview?" one tweet read.

Entertainment Weekly's Kristen Baldwin tweeted confirmation, saying, "All signs point to yes! I have it on good authority that this is, in fact, Puddy."

As it turns out, Warburton is Zach Shallcross' uncle, a fact that should make for an even more intriguing hometown date next week.

The Bachelorette airs on Mondays at 8 PM ET on ABC.
