Disney+ surprised Star Wars fans by releasing the first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi a day early, but the advanced release isn't the only thing that has fans talking.

It was widely known that the series would see Ewan McGregor's return as Obi-Wan and Hayden Christensen reprise his role as Darth Vader, but viewers were in for a surprise when a plot twist revealed that a young Leia Organa would be a key character in the show. Fans were delighted by the surprise addition of "baby Leia," with some viewers calling her the "new baby Yoda."

Leia, who was famously portrayed by Carrie Fisher in the original films, is played in Obi-Wan by Vivien Lyra Blair (Bird Box, Waco, We Can Be Heroes). Fans praised Blair's sassy performance as the iconic character, calling it one that Fisher "would be so proud" of.

The first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi are now streaming on Disney+. The remaining four episodes will premiere over the coming weeks.
