As the Supreme Court appears poised to overturn Roe v. Wade, the stars of Grey's Anatomy have released a PSA advocating for reproductive rights and encouraging women to go on birth control. Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson, Kevin McKidd, Kim Raver, Kelly McCreary, Caterina Scorsone, and Kate Burton all appear in the video, which Shonda Rhimes shared to her Twitter on Thursday.

"Knowledge is power. It's time for you to be in the know," Pompeo says, telling viewers, "Remember, you can get pregnant the first time you have sex. You can get pregnant if you don't consent."

"Get on birth control, now," Wilson says, to which Pompeo adds, "Any form that is reliable." The cast goes on to list some of the different birth control options currently available.

The Grey's Anatomy stars also tell viewers to take a pregnancy test every four to five weeks. "Every four to five weeks may seem like a lot, but time is of the essence with the law," Wilson says.

"If you find out you are pregnant and do not want to be, you have very little time," McKidd says. "This is a terrible time and everyone is afraid."

The PSA directs women to the Bedsider Birth Control Support Network, an organization that helps women aged 18 to 29 get access to birth control.

Grey's Anatomy airs on ABC Thursday nights at 9:00 PM ET.
