Netflix is helping to revive Borgen

The 2010-13 Danish political drama that became an international hit is coming back for a fourth season, thanks in part to Netflix. The streaming giant has inked a deal with Danish public broadcaster DR for a new series of Borgen with creator Adam Price and the original cast, including lead Sidse Babett Knudsen as Birgitte Nyborg, the first female prime minister of Denmark. As part of the deal, the first three seasons of Borgen will join Netflix later this year. Season 4 is expected to premiere in 2022.
