Lucy Lawless to star will solve murders in her first Australian TV leading role

The Xena: Warrior Princess alum, who is from New Zealand, will play fearless investigator Alexa Crowe on the Australian Network Ten crime drama My Life is a Murder. "She is not your average cop," says Network 10's Rick Maier. "Brilliant, insightful, and completely without filter, Alexa is that rare breed of television hero: She doesn't give a damn how she solves the crime or who she offends in the process, as long as she gets it done." No word yet if it will air in the U.S.
