Downton Abbey alum Joanne Froggatt to star as Angela Black on Spectrum Originals

Froggatt will be joined by Game of Thrones alum Michiel Huisman and Samuel Adewunmi on the six-episode thriller from brothers Harry and Jack Williams. "Angela Black centers on a suburban London woman whose seemingly idyllic life hides the fact that she's the victim of domestic abuse," per The Hollywood Reporter. "She's approached out of the blue by Ed (Adewunmi), a private investigator who spills the darkest secrets of Angela's husband, Olivier (Huisman). Can she really trust Ed? Can she leave behind her life as she knows it and finally free herself from Olivier? With one encounter, Angela's life switches from school runs and volunteer work to private detectives and buried secrets as she risks everything she holds dear to fight back against the man who has suppressed and tormented her for most of her life."
