Not every classic Thanksgiving episode of a sitcom is a hilarious good time.

Just last year, The Conners gave us an intense holiday fight between Darlene (Sara Gilbert) and Jackie (Laurie Metcalf) that got so deeply personal that an inebriated Jackie hauled off and slapped her niece right across the face.

The Conners airs Wednesdays at 9:00 PM ET on ABC.
