Sometimes former Saturday Night Live star and current Supermarket Sweep host Leslie Jones goes to Twitter to provide hilariously profane running commentary over whatever she's watching on television at the moment, and on Wednesday night it was cable news.

One of the highlights involved her apparently discovering for the first time that Geraldo Rivera is a Trump supporter, after CNN's Don Lemon played a clip of Geraldo suggesting the COVID vaccines be named after Trump.

"Wait a minute! Geraldo Rivera is a f**king Trumper?!," she yelled at the screen. "No! Geraldo Rivera, you guys! 'Have you got your Trump yet?' Motherf**ker, I will come and shave your f**king mustache! You f**king joke! You f**king joke! Bitch! I watched his f**king show, dog! What the f**k?!"

Jones is likely referring to Rivera's synidcated daytime talk show which ran from 1987 to 1998, during which he famously got his nose broken by a flying chair.

She also absolutely went off on Mitch McConnell, who actually shed tears for outgoing Senator Lamar Alexander but had none for the victims of the pandemic he is refusing to help. "Mitch McConnell crying is like the devil weeping over not being able to kill 50 more people. F**k that motherf**ker," she blasted. "That ain't tears comin' from that bitch-ass motherf**ker. That's goddamn acid fluid! F**k that motherf**ker! F**k that motherf**ker! He ain't got a heart!"

There's more. It just needs to be heard.

She also dunked on the UK's Boris Johnson. "This motherf**ker is a prime minister?" she asked. "I actually didn't think that he actually walked around looking like that. Is that a purple f**king tie? What is wrong with our world?"

It wasn't all anger, though. There was a friendly disagreement with Rachel Maddow on the best Sissy Spacek movie, as well as marvelling at the amount of books behind Lawrence O'Donnell's guest Eddie Glaude Jr., the Chairman of African-American Studies at Princeton.

Jones also gushed over "Auntie" Maya Wiley's wardrobe and her explanation of what "Defund the Police" really means. "It's a terrible name. 'Reform the Police' would have been better. And anybody who thinks that we're trying to stop the police from being the police — stupido! We're talking about extending the help for police so they don't have to go out and shoot every f**king body!"
