It's a Sitcom Ego Battle Over Who Has the Better Memory in New WandaVision Clip

The MCU is going full Bewitched in this just-released clip from WandaVision.

In typical sitcom fashion, neither The Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) or The Vision (Paul Bettany) are willing to admit they don't know something they should know — in this case, the significance of a date marked on the calendar — and have a battle of wills about it. 

This may be emblematic of Wanda Maximoff having a mental breakdown and hallucinating this whole thing, too. Perhaps a subconscious intrusion of an important date trying to pierce the illusion? There are so many places this could go.

WandaVision premieres this Friday, January 15 on Disney+.
