7 Years Ago Today Was Justin Timberlake's Last Appearance on SNL

  • It's hard to believe that Justin Timberlake hasn't appeared on Saturday Night Live in 7 years (not counting the opening number for the 40th Anniversary Special back in 2015).

He was the musical guest for then-new Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon on this day back in 2013, which essentially meant he was the co-host, because you're not going to get the multi-talented Timberlake on the show and NOT put him in sketches. He was already in the 5-Timers Club, after all.

The dancing wrapping paper mascot sketch above was the cold open of the show, and was the last time Timberlake busted out his big-gloved silly dance-medley character that always received the high-pitched screams of glee from the audience. It's also obviously two good friends having dopey festive fun, which helps to put us in the holiday spirit.
