Chefs vs. Wild Blends Survival and Cooking Genres, Netflix Takes A Trip to Infinity

    The reality TV mash-up is alive and well today as Hulu premieres Chefs vs. Wild, in which chefs must forage for ingredients in the wilderness and then create five-star dishes. Two episodes of the back-to-basics cooking competition drop today.

    Also today: Netflix explores infinity in a min-bending new documentary, Dancing With the Stars celebrates Elvis, The Voice blind auditions continue, and more. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Monday:

    Chefs vs. Wild: Series premiere. Hulu drops two world-class chefs into the wilderness, where they have 48 hours to survive and forage enough ingredients to create a three-course meal. Each chef will be partnered with a survivalist partner, who doubles as a sous chef when the competition heads to an impressive outdoor kitchen.     A Trip to Infinity: Original documentary. Eminent mathematicians, particle physicists, and cosmologists attempt to explain infinity and its mind-bending implications for the universe’s future. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

    Dancing With the Stars: New episode. The celebrities and their partners honor Elvis Presley, the King of Rock and Roll, as they dance to his greatest hits. 8:00 PM ET on Disney+

    The Voice: New episode. Coaches Blake Shelton, Camila Cabello, John Legend, and Gwen Stefani continue to fill out their teams in the third night of blind auditions. 8:00 PM ET on NBC

    Quantum Leap: New episode. As Ben (Raymond Lee) finds himself headed into orbit aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis in 1995, Addison (Caitlin Bassett) confides in Ian (Mason Alexander Park) about a discovery. Watch preview. 10:00 PM ET on NBC

    Monday Night Football: With the NFC East flipped on its head, the top-ranked New York Giants (2-0) host the Dallas Cowboys (1-1). In addition to the regular MNF broadcast, the popular ManningCast will air on ESPN2. 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT on ABC and ESPN

    Panhandle: Series premiere. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s Luke Kirby plays an eccentric, agoraphobic arm-chair detective who teams up with a reluctant traffic cop (Tiana Okoye) to solve a murder in the Florida panhandle in this dramedy.
