All Star Shore Gathers Reality TV Favorites, The Upshaws Returns

    Paramount+ brings together stars from across the realityTV landscape today in All Star Shore, a party competition show featuring cast members from Love Island, Jersey Shore, The Bachelor, and more.

    Also today: The Upshaws returns to Netflix, Niecy Nash and Giancarlo Esposito headline Lena Waithe’s Beauty, and the Pirate Gold of Adak Island crew hunts for buried treasure. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Wednesday:

    All Star Shore: Series premiere. Paramount+ is promising to deliver the ultimate reality TV crossover with this first-of-its-kind party competition series. Stars from Jersey Shore, Love Is Blind, Bachelor in Paradise, and other popular franchises compete in a series of party-style challenges, including Party Pong and Shots and Found, in hopes of taking home $150,000.     The Upshaws: Complete Season 2, Part 1. The Upshaw family continues to ride life’s ups and downs as they deal with new loves, old flames, big dreams, and major life changes in eight new episodes. Mike Epps, Kim Fields, and Wanda Sykes return to the multi-cam comedy for Season 2, which will be split into two parts. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

    Beauty: Original film. A gifted young Black woman (Gracie Marie Bradley) struggles to maintain her voice and identity after she’s offered a lucrative recording contract, setting off a fierce battle between her family, her label, and her closest friend to determine who will guide her as she makes the journey to become a star. The Tribeca-selected film was written by Lena Waithe (The Chi) and also stars Niecy Nash, Giancarlo Esposito, and Sharon Stone. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

    Pirate Gold of Adak Island: Complete docuseries. A team of experienced treasure hunters search for a lost cache of gold coins valued at $365 million in the Alaskan wilderness. As they search for the treasure, they must avoid unexploded Worls War II bombs that are scattered across Adak Island. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

    Right to Offend: The Black Comedy Revolution: Documentary premiere. A&E explores Black comedy through a unique lens, tracing the evolution and social awakening of the courageous comedians who dared to push against the constraints of their time and speak truth to power. Executive produced by Kevin Hart, the two-part documentary airs on consecutive nights. Watch trailer. 9:00 PM ET on A&E

    Ms. Marvel: New episode. Streaming on Disney+

    Baymax!: Complete Season 1. Eight years after making his debut in Big Hero 6, inflatable robot Baymax returns to the fantastical city of San Fransokyo, where he sets out to help others. The six-episode animated series introduces a host of characters who need Baymax’s signature approach to healing in more ways than they realize. Watch trailer. Streaming on Disney+

    The Flash: Season 8 finale. With The Flash (Grant Gustin) still reeling, the rest of the team rallies to his support when he needs it the most. The superhero drama has been renewed for a ninth season and is expected to return in early 2023. Watch preview. 8:00 PM ET on The CW

    Married at First Sight: Kicking Off San Diego: Special presentation. Host Kevin Frazier and a panel of MAFS aficionados look at the coming season's five new couples in a three-hour preview special. 8:00 PM ET on Lifetime
