    Hacks and Under the Banner of Heaven — two of this spring’s most acclaimed series — reach their finales today, while The Orville makes the move from broadcast to streaming for Season 3.

    Plus: Netflix revives Danish cult hit Borgen, Gayle King celebrates Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, Ben Whishaw brings This Is Going To Hurt to the small screen, and more. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Thursday:

    Hacks: Season 2 finale. As Deborah (Jean Smart) puts the finishing touches on her new hour, she turns to an old friend (guest star Susie Essman) for help. Meanwhile, Jimmy (Paul W. Downs) struggles to keep Deborah's critics at bay. Streaming on HBO Max

    Under the Banner of Heaven: Limited series finale. As the details of the murders become clear, Pyre (Andrew Garfield) and Taba (Gil Birmingham) embark on an interstate manhunt, hoping to catch the killers before they complete their list of those to be "blood atoned."     The Orville: Season 3 premiere. More than three years after it last aired on Fox, Seth MacFarlane’s space adventure returns as a Hulu original. The new season, stylized as The Orville: New Horizons, is set 400 years in the future as the crew of the U.S.S.     Borgen - Power & Glory: Complete first season. Foreign Minister Birgitte Nyborg (Sidse Babett Knudsen) finds her career in jeopardy when a dispute over oil in Greenland threatens to become an international crisis in this continuation of the acclaimed Danish drama.     Her Majesty the Queen: A Gayle King Special: Special presentation. CBS News marks the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II with an hour-long event reflecting on her unprecedented 70-year reign. Featuring interviews with those close to the Queen, including Sir Paul McCartney, and royal experts Tina Brown and Wesley Kerr. 10:00 PM ET on CBS

    This Is Going To Hurt: Limited series premiere. AMC brings Adam Kay’s award-winning memoir to the screen in this seven-episode series about life on a gynecology and obstetrics ward. The dramedy stars Ben Whishaw as Adam, a doctor who struggles to balance his personal life with the life-and-death decisions he makes at work. Read our review. Streaming on AMC+ and Sundance Now

    The Book of Queer: Docuseries premiere. Discovery+ tells the story of groundbreaking queer individuals, from Greek poet Sappho to Harvey Milk, in this five-episode series. Each episode features reenactments performed by an entirely queer ensemble cast, plus naration from Dominique Jackson, Leslie Jordan, Ross Matthews, Alex Newell, and Margaret Cho. Watch trailer.     Top Chef: Season 19 finale. The remaining three chefs have one last chance to show off their skills in a Tucson-set challenge. The winner will go home with $250,000 and ultimate bragging rights. 8:00 PM ET on Bravo

    The Croods: Family Tree: Complete third season. Jealous of the Thunder Sisters, the men on the farm undergo a difficult initiation to join the exclusive tribe of women, while Eep and Dawn prepare for the ultimate skate-off with the Punch Monkeys to reclaim their skate spot.
