Black-ish, This Is Us Begin Final Seasons, Judge Steve Harvey Bows on ABC

    TV's winter season kicks into high gear tonight with the final season premieres of Black-ish and This Is Us, and the premiere of Steve Harvey's new "courtroom comedy." Also today: a trio of new sitcoms make their time period premieres, CBS's FBI franchise returns for the back half of the 2021-2022 season, and more. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Tuesday:

    Judge Steve Harvey: Series premiere. Steve Harvey is back in primetime, and this time he's got Judge Judy in his sights. Harvey serves as both judge and jury in this new unscripted courtroom series that sees real people turning to the comedian to resolve their conflicts. Watch trailer. 8:00 PM ET on ABC

    Black-ish: Season premiere. Former first lady Michelle Obama guests as the hit ABC series begins its eighth and final season. Watch trailer. 9:30 PM ET on ABC

    This Is Us: Season premiere. It may not be the hit it once was (we've got our ideas why), but This Is Us begins its sixth and final season with a lot of ground to cover, including Kevin (Justin Hartley) and Kate (Chrissy Metz) seemingly both headed into new relationships, and the many mysteries of those flash-forward scenes to be solved.     American Auto: Time period premiere. Katherine (Ana Gasteyer) npromises a big announcement on her first quarterly earnings call. Jack (Tye White) and Elliot (Humphrey Ker) negotiate a contract with the line workers union. 8:00 PM ET on NBC

    Grand Crew: Time period premiere. The crew spends the night at Wyatt (Justin Cunningham) and Kristen's (Kelly Jenrette) house after being displaced by a local wildfire. 8:30 PM ET on NBC

    Abbott Elementary. Time period premiere. Despite the best of intentions, Janine (Quinta Brunson) ends up causing new issues throughout the school. Meanwhile, Gregory (Tyler James Williams) asks Barbara (Sheryl Lee Ralph) for help talking to a parent. 9:00 PM ET on ABC

    FBI: Winter premiere. Tiffany (Katherine Renee Turner) becomes personally invested in a sixteen year-old foster child while the team investigate a string of jewelry store robberies that culminate in a double murder. (Followed by new episodes of FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted. 8:00 PM ET on CBS

    College Football: LSU take on Kansas State at the TaxAct Texas Bowl at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. 9:00 PM ET/6:00 PM PM on ESPN

    Finding Your Roots: Season premiere. Rebecca Hall and Lee Daniels research their family histories as the Henry Louis Gates, Jr. series returns for its eighth season. Watch trailer. 8:00 PM ET on PBS
