Dopesick: Series premiere. The origin story of America’s struggle with opioid addiction gets the limited series treatment in this adaptation of Beth Macy’s bestselling book. The show's all-star cast is led by Michael Keaton as a Virginia doctor who freely prescribes OxyContin, while Peter Sarsgaard plays the U.S. Attorney prosecuting Purdue Pharma and its billionaire president, Richard Sackler (Michael Stuhlbarg). The Sinner: Season premiere. The now-retired Detective Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman) travels to a remote island in Maine for a getaway with his partner, Sonya (Jessica Hecht), but when an unexpected tragedy occurs, Ambrose is recruited to help the investigation, only to be thrown into a new mystery that threatens to turn his life upside down. Stephen “tWitch” Boss hosts E!’s new competition that pits cover bands against one another for a chance to win $25,000 and an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: Season premiere.
