FOX Reboots Fantasy Island, AGT Begins Live Shows, and More

    The legend of Fantasy Island continues in FOX’s reboot of the classic drama series starring Roselyn Sanchez as Elena Roarke, a descendant of Ricardo Montalbán’s iconic Mr. Roarke.

    Also today: America’s Got Talent returns with its first live show of the season and a Peacock-exclusive wild card special, Hard Knocks travels to Cowboys training camp for a new season focused on America’s Team, and Netflix kicks off an ambitious new five-part sports film series. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Tuesday:

    Fantasy Island: Series premiere. FOX invites viewers back to the iconic luxury resort in this reboot of the classic late 70s/early 80s drama. First up: steward Elena Roarke (Roselyn Sanchez) welcomes a series of demanding guests, including a local morning show host (Bellamy Young) with an insatiable appetite.     America’s Got Talent: 12 performers take the stage at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles for the quarterfinals in the first live show of the season. Watch preview. 8:00 PM ET on NBC

    AGT: America's Wildcard: Special presentation. Yep, more AGT. For the first time ever, viewers will have the chance to choose which act will take the final slot this season in America's Got Talent's live shows as five contestants take the stage in this hour-long Peacock special hosted by Terry Crews.     Hard Knocks: The Dallas Cowboys: Season premiere. HBO takes viewers into the Dallas Cowboys’ training camp in the sixteenth iteration of its Emmy-winning docuseries. New episodes air Tuesdays through September 7, two days before the Cowboys play their first regular-season game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.     Untold: Series premiere. Netflix puts its own spin on ESPN’s 30 for 30 format in this five-episode film series. The first installment, streaming today, centers on the November 2004 “Malice at the Palace” brawl between Detroit Pistons fans and Indiana Pacers star Ron Artest. Read our review.     Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘N Out: Season premiere. VH1’s blockbuster franchise returns with a revamped set, 10 new games, and exclusive performances and guest appearances from Latto, Rick Ross, Trina, and Loni Love.     DC’s Stargirl: Season premiere. The DC Comics drama returns to The CW for another season of superheroic action. In Season 2, high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger), her stepfather Pat Dugan (Luke Wilson), and her friends take on one of DC’s most frightening villains: the dark entity of corruption known as Eclipso.     Howie Mandel: But Enough About Me:  After making the film festival rounds last year, this feature length doc looking at Mandel's life, career and his lifelong battle with OCD makes its streaming debut. Watch trailerStreaming on Peacock.

    Little People, Big World: Season finale. The boys give Amy a hard time when Matt joins in on a farm scouting trip with Chris and his friends. Elsewhere, the family watches as the log cabin is unveiled, and Matt invites everyone to participate in a big campfire. 9:00 PM ET on TLC
