American Horror Stories and Dr. Death Bring Terrifying Tales to the Small Screen

    TV serves up the scares today with the series premieres of American Horror Stories, a spinoff of Ryan Murphy’s beloved anthology, and Dr. Death, Peacock’s true crime drama about extreme medical malpractice. Also today: Never Have I Ever introduces a new love triangle in Season 2, Colin Farrell fronts a new series on AMC+, and more. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Thursday:

    American Horror Stories: Series premiere. Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck expand the AHS universe in this new weekly anthology series. The spinoff begins with a double-header reuniting fans with the dreaded Rubber Man (now a woman) from Murder House. Watch trailer. Streaming on FX on Hulu

    Dr. Death: Complete limited series. Based on the podcast of the same name, this eight-part limited series tells the true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch (played by Joshua Jackson), a neurosurgeon who was charged with malpractice after 30 patients left his operating table either seriously maimed or dead.
