Kim's Convenience Season 5 Lands on Netflix After Its Surprise Cancellation

    Two months after Kim’s Convenience was abruptly canceled by its Canadian network, the beloved sitcom makes its way to Netflix for its fifth, and now final, season. Also today: Emeril Lagasse stops by the Masterchef: Legends premiere as a guest judge, Family Karma returns to Bravo with a super-sized Season 2 premiere, and defendants take the stand in Court Cam Presents: Under Oath. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Wednesday:

    COMPLETE FIFTH SEASON: In the final thirteen episodes of Kim’s Convenience, Jung (Simu Liu) and Janet (Andrea Bang) reconsider their professional futures, while Appa (Paul Sun-Hyung Lee) and Umma (Jean Yoon) balance their responsibilities with the store with the realities of aging.     SEASON PREMIERE: FOX is upping the ante in Masterchef Season 11, alternately titled Masterchef: Legends. Every week a different celebrity chef will visit the kitchen to inspire the Masterchef contestants and serve as a guest judge, with Emeril Lagasse stepping up first for the premiere.     SEASON PREMIERE: The Bravo family expands with the addition of two new Family Karma cast members, Rish Karam and Dillon Patel. Tonight's 75-minute Season 2 premiere sees the group of young Indian Americans continue to square modern-day life in Miami with the expectations set by their traditional parents and grandparents. 9:00 PM ET on Bravo

    SERIES PREMIERE: Live PD may be gone, but its lineage carries on at A&E in Court Cam Presents Under Oath, a new Dan Abrams-hosted series about defendants taking the stand to plead their case. Each episode will explore a different case, as Abrams provides commentary on the dangerous legal strategy that can determine a defendant’s future. Watch trailer. 10:00 PM ET on A&E
