Baroness Von Sketch Show Wraps Five-Year Run on IFC

    After five seasons and five bonus episodes, our favorite all-female sketch comedy series Baroness von Sketch Show bids farewell tonight with one last off-kilter look at the angst and absurdities of modern life. 

    Also today: HBO recalls the day arenas across America fell silent, Netflix's Seaspiracy may leave you swearing off seafood, and families get a sneak peek at their geriatric futures in a new PBS special. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Wednesday:

    SERIES FINALE: The final episode of Baroness Von Sketch Show considers future art, fashion over 40, and plastic panic: a cautionary tale about takeout containers. Midnight on IFC

    NEW EPISODE: TV's most inane reality competition is changing things up as The Masked Singer introduces its first-ever "wildcard" character, who will take the stage at the end of the night in hopes of stealing a slot from an existing celebrity in disguise. 8:00 PM ET on FOX

    DOCUMENTARY: HBO Sports and director Antoine Fuqua present The Day Sports Stood Still, a look back at the unprecedented sports shutdown in March of 2020 and the remarkable turn of events that followed. Watch trailer. 9:00 PM ET  on HBO

    SEASON FINALE: The Queen of Soul enters the age of disco and pushes herself to new creative heights as Genius: Aretha airs its two final episodes at 9:00 PM ET on National Geographic

    NEW EPISODE: Dan (John Goodman) feels helpless when Louise (Katey Sagal) refuses to let him put himself at risk for her on The Conners. Meanwhile, when Jackie (Laurie Metcalf) learns the competing restaurants are posting negative reviews about The Lunch Box, she recruits Neville (Nat Faxon) to help her confront them. 9:00 PM ET on ABC
