Controversy Won't Quell ABC's Twisty Sleeper Hit Big Sky

    It's official — after debuting to disappointing ratings, a COVID problem and protests from indigenous groups that elicited a controversial response from show producers, ABC's Big Sky is now a sleeper hit, having picked up more delayed viewers over its first three weeks than any new network series in recent memory. The show's fourth episode airs tonight.

    Also tonight: The Voice names its four finalists, Bennett and Noah's cliffhanger two-on-one date concludes on The Bachelorette, and a new HBO doc chronicles a son's decades-long fight to exonerate his parents. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Tuesday:

    NEW EPISODE: Cassie (Kylie Bunbury) and Jenny (Katheryn Winnick) take matters into their own hands on Big Sky as the girls' disappearance begins making headlines.     DOCUMENTARY PREMIERE: They were members of MOVE, the Philadelphia-based radical group that became symbols of police brutality in the 1970s, but they were also parents. Directed by Tommy Oliver, 40 Years a Prisoner chronicles a son’s decades long fight to exonerate his parents. Watch trailer. 9:00 PM ET on HBO

    SEASON FINALE: When a young mother addicted to opioids nearly dies on Transplant, Bash (Hamza Haq) must determine whether she's using again, or if something else is causing her deadly symptoms. Later, Theo (Jim Watson) tries to help a gravely ill teen and his family deal with the possibility that their medical hopes have run out. Two episodes air back-to-back beginning at 9:00 PM ET on NBC
