Aaron Sorkin's The Trial of the Chicago 7 Revisits Another Era of Political Tumult

    It was a time of great political discord. Mistrust of the government was at an all-time high, and people took to the streets to protest. Sound familiar? In his new Netflix original film The Trial of the Chicago 7, writer/director Aaron Sorkin looks back at the violent protests at the 1968 Democratic convention and the seven men who stood trial for organizing them.

    ORIGINAL MOVIE: Fresh off a limited theatrical release, Aaron Sorkin's The Trial of the Chicago 7 is an ensemble drama focusing on the seven defendants charged with conspiracy for organizing protests at the 1968 Democratic National Convention. Eddie Redmayne, Sacha Baron Cohen, Mark Rylance, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Keaton, and Frank Langella star. Watch the trailer. Streaming on Netflix

    SERIES PREMIERE: Hulu is bringing the Marvel Comics characters Daimon and Satana Helstrom to the small screen in the new standalone series Helstom.
