Comedy Puppet Master Robert Smigel Skewers the Election With Let's Be Real

    The twisted mind behind Triumph the the Insult Comic Dog and TV Fun House hits primetime tonight with Let's Be Real, a new Fox special featuring puppet versions of President Trump, Joe Biden, Mike Pence and Kanye West. Also today: AMC+ gives streamers an early look at a pair of crime dramas, Peacock presents a British detective comedy involving artificial intelligence, and a new special digs up yet more dirt from The Real Housewives of New York City. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Thursday:

    SPECIAL PRESENTATION: Robert Smigel (Triumph the Insult Comic Dog) presents the new half-hour primetime special Let's Be Real, featuring puppet likenesses of the major players in the 2020 election, plus celebrity cameos and remote pieces. Watch a preview. 9:00 PM on FOX

    SERIES PREMIERE: AMC is premiering the crime drama Gangs of London on its streaming service AMC+. The show follows Sean Wallace (Joe Cole) who must prove he's ready to step into the shoes of his father Finn (Colm Meaney), a powerful figure in the London underworld.     SERIES PREMIERE: Also streaming on AMC+ ahead of a more traditional run on AMC next year is The Salisbury Poisonings, which tells the true story of the 2018 Novichok poisonings. Watch the trailer. Streaming on AMC+

    SERIES PREMIERE: Like a comedic Robocop, Code 404 follows the exploits of a British police detective who is shot and killed in the line of duty, and brought back to life via artificial intelligence.     NEW ON STREAMING: Peacock is expanding its Saturday Night Live back catalog today to include all 45 seasons of the landmark series just ahead of this weekend's Season 46 premiere. Streaming on Peacock

    SPECIAL PRESENTATION: The season is over, and the reunions seemed to have scraped together every last scrap of drama, but as The Real Housewives of New York City: Secrets Revealed is set to prove, there's always a new layer of grime to be found where the housewives of New York are concerned. 9:00 PM ET on Bravo

    NEW EPISODE: The battles continue on Celebrity Family Feud, where Team Joel McHale is set to take on Team Ben Feldman, with the winnings going to Union Mission Rescue and Alzheimer’s Los Angeles. 8:00 PM ET on ABC
