Project Runway Meets The Puppy Channel in HBO Max's Haute Dog

In what promises to be a new breed of reality series, Haute Dog pits dog groomers against each other in a full head-to-tail competition featuring canine breeds of all kinds. The first six episodes of the series drop today on HBO Max. Also today: several of ABC's summer game shows are back for a rare fall engagement, The Chef Show whips up some sweet treats, and HBO airs the conclusion of Alex Gibney's Agents of Chaos. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Thursday:

SERIES PREMIERE: Robin Thede and celebrity dog groomer Jess Rona head up the judging panel on Haute Dog, a new reality compeitition that follows three dog groomers as they brush, snip, and tease pooches to the pinnacle of perfection. NEW EPISODE: Well, the Veto didn't work out for them, which means either Da'Vonne or Kevin will be evicted from the Big Brother house, continuing this season's endless steamroll by the bro-heavy Committee alliance.
