    Cookbook author and Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi is branching out with a new docuseries premiering today on Hulu. Each episode of Taste the Nation sees Lakshmi traveling to a different part of the U.S. to explore the rich and diverse food culture of various immigrant groups. Also today: HBO examines the poisonous influence of Roy Cohn, Council of Dads shares some shocking news, and HBO Max teaches kids about Karma. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Thursday:

    SERIES PREMIERE: What is American food? That's the question Padma Lakshmi is out to answer in her new ten-episode docuseries Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi, with each episode looking at the influence of different immigrant communities on the great patchwork of American culture and cuisine.
