The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever Revisits the Tale of Kaitlyn Bristowe

    The Bachelor has had its own form of reckoning in recent weeks amid mounting criticism about the show's lack of diversity. On Friday, ABC and the show's producers announced that 28 year-old Matt James will be its first-ever back male lead. While it'll still be some time before the show goes back into production (when it does, Clare Crawley's Bachelorette season is first at bat), ABC is continuing to fill the gap with new episodes of The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever. Tonight, the series flashes back to Kaitlyn Bristowe's season of The Bachelorette, where she faced a jaw-dripping obstacle in the very first episode — and went on to one of the most emotional seasons in franchise history. Fans get to relive it all over the course of one evening tonight. Also:Songland sings its final verse, a ninja warrior swings by The Titans Games and PBS airs a new America in Black and Blue special, featuring interviews with thought leaders and participants in the Black Lives Matter movement. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Monday:

    NEW EPISODE: Few figures in the history of The Bachelor franchise have had a more eventful ride than Kaitlyn Bristowe. The second episode of The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever turns the spotlight on The Bachelor alum's unpredictable Bachelorette season that ended in a dramatic proposal.     SEASON FINALE: Usher swings by the season finale of Songland to see what the songsmiths have cooked up, before he and some of music's top producers record a new tune for worldwide release. 10:00 PM ET on NBC

    NEW EPISODE: Stunt woman Jessie Graff (of American Ninja Warrior fame) joins Victor Cruz on the The Titan Games, where they'll be challenging the winners on Mount Olympus as Dwayne Johnson looks on. 8:00 PM ET on NBC

    SPECIAL PRESENTATION: In a followup to its 2016 special report on the issue of police violence against black Americans, America in Black and Blue 2020, A PBS Newshour Special will feature reports from across the country, including interviews with key leaders and participants in the struggle for racial justice, accountability and equity. 9:00 PM ET on PBS

    SEASON FINALE: Realizing they can't save everyone in the season finale of Roswell, New Mexico, Liz (Jeanine Mason) and Isobel (Lily Cowles) must make some difficult decisions. Watch the preview. 8:00 PM ET on The CW

    DOCUMENTARY: Independent Lens presents Recorder: The Marion Stokes Project, which tells the story of Marion Stokes, an activist turned recluse, who spent thirty years recording American television programming 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, eventually amassing a collection of 71,716 VHS and Betamax tapes. The film uses interviews and snippets of Stokes' recordings to tell the story of her life and detail the impact of her undertaking. Watch the trailer. 10:00 PM ET on PBS
