Self-Isolation Births a New Parks and Recreation Reunion Special

    The coronavirus crisis has seen more than its fair share of virtual cast reunions to help raise funds for those in need, but tonight's Parks and Rec Special promises to be the most elaborate yet, with the entire cast returning in character for a special one-off episode set in the current work from home environment. The special will be preceded by a Paley Center tribute to the series, which concluded its seven year run in 2015. Also today:Young Sheldon, Last Man Standing, and Better Things wrap their seasons, Station 19 and We're Here are back with new episodes, and Council of Dads returns for episode two. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Thursday:

    SPECIAL PRESENTATION: With social distancing guidelines in place in Pawnee, Indiana, A Parks and Recreation Special checks in with Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), who is doing her best to stay in touch with her loved ones, including Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman), Ann Perkins (Rashida Jones), Tom Haverford (Aziz Ansari), Ben Wyatt (Adam Scott), Chris Traeger (Rob Lowe), Andy Dwyer (Chris Pratt), April Ludgate (Aubrey Plaza), Donna Meagle (Retta), and Jerry Gergich (Jim O’Heir). The special will raise funds for Feeding America, which is working with food banks across the country to end hunger. Viewer donations will be matched by State Farm and Subaru.     SPECIAL PRESENTATION: Five years after its series finale, Parks and Rec remains a cultural touchstone. Preceding tonight's reunion, The Paley Center Salutes Parks and Recreation will highlight some of the show's most memorable moments, along with never-before-seen backstage footage and interviews. 8:00 PM ET on NBC

    NEW EPISODE: Five weeks after its premiere, Council of Dads returns for episode two, with Robin (Sarah Wayne Callies) adjusting to the reality of the situation.
