One Day at a Time Jumps to Pop TV for Season 4

When Netflix announced last year it had canceled Norman Lear's One Day at a Time reboot, fans and critics were up in arms. But as Primetimer's Tara Ariano writes today, cosmic justice prevailed when Pop TV swooped in to save the show at the last minute. The series makes its basic cable debut tonight. Also today: the season finale of This Is Us, a night of shocking revelations on Empire, and Council of Dads sneak peeks on NBC. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Tuesday:

DOCUMENTARY: Producer Ken Burns presents East Lake Meadows: A Public Housing Story. The film tells the history of a public housing development built on the edge of Atlanta in 1970, and the former residents who created a community there in the decades that followed.
