Edie Falco and Brooklyn Nine-Nine Return, as Riverdale Spinoff Katy Keene Debuts

    NBC is giving fans exactly what they want with a doubleheader of Brooklyn Nine-Nine as the comedy returns for Season 7. Meanwhile, The Sopranos' Edie Falco is stepping over the thin blue line to play L.A.'s first female police chief, and The CW is expanding its ever-expanding franchise universe with a new Riverdale spinoff. Also today: three new and returning crime dramas, a new sitcom starring Adam Pally (Happy Endings) and Abby Elliott (SNL), and the conclusion of ESPN's Michael Vick documentary. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Thursday:

    SEASON PREMIERE: Andy Samberg and company kick off Brooklyn Nine-Nine's seventh season with back-to-back episodes. In the season opener, Jake (Samberg) leads a manhunt, while Holt (Andre Braugher) adjusts to his new position on the force.
