As Primetimer's Joe Reid posits, The Good Place -- with all of its big ideas and many of its crucial plot developments happening in the final seconds of  its episodes -- may be the Netflix-iest comedy on all of television (including Netflix itself). It's certainly made a name for itself as a truly unpredictable network series. From episode to episode and season to season, fans have never known what to expect next. The same holds true with the series finale, which comes one week after Team Cockroach finally reached heaven, only to find that existence lacks meaning when there's no possible end in sight. Michael (Ted Danson) devised a solution, but how it will play into tonight's finale remains to be seen.

SERIES FINALE: After finally arriving in The Good Place (the real one this time), the gang learned heaven wasn't all they expected. After Michael created a doorway to true nothingness, our heroes seemed at peace, but the existence of that portal has us wondering what surprises the extended final episode has in store for the show's fans. 8:30 PM ET on NBC

SPECIAL PRESENTATION: Ted Danson has a history with big series finale aftershows (and it isn't pretty). Here's hoping Seth Meyers fares better than Jay Leno as the host of tonight's post-show The Good Place Special, where the cast will reunite to discuss the finale and the beloved show's four seasons. The special airs immediately following the finale, at around 9:30 PM ET on NBC

SERIES PREMIERE: Based on the novel by Harlan Coben, The Stranger introduces viewers to a world in which all is not what it seems, and a stranger's accusations send people's lives spinning out of control. As Primetimer's Matthew Rodriguez writes, the new series features familiar faces from shows as far flung as Absolutely FabulousBuffy the Vampire Slayer and Game of ThronesWatch the preview. Streaming on Netflix

NBA BASKETBALL: Tonight's primetime double header on TNT kicks off with The Warriors vs The Celtics at 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT, followed by The Jazz vs The Nuggets at 10:30 PM ET/7:30 PM PT on TNT

NEW EPISODE: Wedding bells are set to ring on Superstore, with Jerry (Chris Grace) and Sandra (Kaliko Kauahi) getting married. Meanwhile, Garrett (Colton Dunn) is still working on his best man speech. 8:00 PM ET on NBC

DOCUMENTARY: The two-part documentary 30 for 30: Michael Vick examines the life, career, downfall, and controversial comeback of the star athlete whose name will forever be linked to animal cruelty. 9:00 PM ET on ESPN

NEW EPISODE:  Everyone is in a state of transition tonight on Grey's Anatomy, as Maggie (Kelly McCreary) leaves Grey Sloan, and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) realizes something is missing. 9:00 PM ET on ABC
