Disney+ has exceeded all expectations in its first month and a half, and a good portion of the streaming platform's success can be attributed to The Mandalorian, which, as our Aaron Barnhart points out is much more than a little green meme (although clearly it's that, too). In eight short episodes, the show has successfully brought the Star Wars universe to television, remaining true to its origins and adding beloved new characters to a galaxy far, far away. The Mandalorian's first season finale drops today, and following the pivotal events of last week, the bar could not be set any higher.

SEASON FINALE: In tonight's season finale, The Mandalorian is faced with an unexpected enemy. Disney+ hasn't announced when the show will return for Season 2. Streaming on Disney+

NEW EPISODE: Following in the tradition of last year's "New Year, New You," Into the Dark's New Year's installment — "Midnight Kiss" — puts a decidedly dark twist on the end of year festivities. Streaming on Hulu

SERIES PREMIERE: Kevin Hart has had a tumultuous year, one that the six-part docu-series Kevin Hart: Don't F**k This Up examines up close and personal with unique access to the actor and comedian as he attempts to navigate the minefield of fame, frequently stumbling over obstacles of his own making. Watch the preview. Streaming on Netflix

SERIES PREMIERE: Making It  isn't the only craft show on TV. Tonight PBS bows its new series Craft in America, with tonight's episode taking an in depth look at quilting and its unique place in American history. 9:00 PM ET on PBS
