Mr. Robot Says “Goodbye, Friend” in a Two-hour Series Finale

    Mr. Robot closes out its four-season run tonight with a finale that creator Sam Esmail says he's had planned from the very beginning. The series, which stormed the zeitgeist when it premiered in 2015 has seen a return to form this season, taking creative risks and giving series star Rami Malek the chance to deliver a truly Oscar-worthy performance. For his part, Malek has said that his "mouth was agape" after Esmail first told him how the series would end, promising a "very, very climactic ending."
