    In what promises to be the biggest Friday Drop before the end of the year, today brings new tentpole title releases from almost of the major players, plus a high profile season finale and more of that sweet baby Yoda. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this very busy Friday:

    SEASON PREMIERE: You can count on a slew of new Tony Shalhoub one-liners as The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel returns for Season 3, with a host of new characters, including at least one Gilmore Girls alum joining the cast (with more to come?). Watch the preview. Streaming on Prime Video

    SERIES PREMIERE: Octavia Spencer (Hidden Figures), Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), and Lizzy Caplan (Castle Rock) star in Truth Be Told. The newest series on Apple TV+  follows a true crime podcaster as she investigates a murder case. Read our review. Streaming on Apple TV+

    NEW EPISODE: Disney+'s Star Wars series The Mandalorian has been a breakout hit for the new streaming service, introducing a new character that has swiftly conquered pop culture. The show enters the second half of its first season tonight. Streaming on Disney+

    SEASON FINALE: The Jason Momoa series See, which explores a world in which much of the human population has lost the power of sight, concludes its first season. The show has already been renewed for a second season. Streaming on Apple TV+

    SEASON PREMIERE: From the producers of The Handmaid's Tale and Fargo, the drama Reprisal stars Abigail Spencer as a wronged woman hellbent on revenge. Watch the preview. Streaming on Hulu

    NEW EPISODE: Frankie Rodriguez’s Carlos figures prominently in what promises to be an historic episode of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series as the theater kids attend the East High Homecoming dance. Streaming on Disney+

    STREAMING PREMIERE: Writer/Director Noah Baumbach's Marriage Story — starring Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson — offers a glimpse at a crumbling marriage and the fallout it has on everyone involved. Watch the trailer. Streaming on Netflix

    SEASON PREMIERE: The comedy series In the Long Run, co-starring and created by Idris Ellba, returns for a second season of 80s period comedy. 10:00 PM ET on Starz
