In the short span of time in which Netflix has been producing original programming, they've quickly establlished Fridays as the day they release their tentpole shows. The thought process certainly seems solid: drop an entire season of your hot new show early Friday morning and give your subscribers all weekend to binge at their leisure in their comfy clothes. The sheer vastness of Netflix's content pipeline means that every single Friday there are multiple new TV shows debuting full seasons. Which means almost every Friday is a Netflix Friday.

But every now and then, the other, less prolific/more cultivated streaming platforms join the Friday party. And that's when things get fun. Such is the case this week, when Hulu debuts its highly-anticipated adaptation of the Joseph Heller novel Catch-22, and Amazon drops Season 2 of Phoebe Waller-Bridge's Fleabag. Add to that the usual batch of Netflix releases (including new seasons of Nailed It, White Gold and The Rain), and we've all got our work cut out for us this weekend.

SERIES PREMIERE: Based on the 1961 satirical novel by Joseph Heller, Hulu's miniseries adaptation of Catch-22 comes from producers George Clooney and Grant Heslov. Clooney leads a star-studded cast (emphasis on the studs, says our Tara Ariano), including Kyle Chandler, Hugh Laurie, Christopher Abbott, and more. Streaming on Hulu

NEW SEASON: Phoebe Waller-Bridge is back with a second season of Fleabag (watch the trailer), and judging from those who saw it when it was released in England, it's pretty great. Word is this is Fleabag's last season, so if you're the savoring kind, you may want to take it slow with these final six episodes. Streaming on Amazon

NEW SEASON: Nicole Byer and Jacques Torres are back to delight and recoil in the baking disasters of some of the worst at-home buffoons you ever saw with the third season (fourth if you count the Holidays season, which you should) of Nailed It! (watch trailer). The more elaborate the assignment, the more spectacular the crash-and-burn, and with episode titles like "Oui Can't Bake!" and "Ready to Wear, Ready to Eat," we can pretty much guarantee that YA DONE! Streaming on Netflix

NEW SERIES: Best that we can tell, It's Bruno! is a TV show about a man who has a very adorable dog and who walks that dog around his neighborhood constantly, regularly telling people not to pet his dog, which is impossible, because of the "cute dog" thing. Maybe this is High Maintenance with dog-walking instead of drug-dealing? Streaming on Netflix
