The Daily Show Catches Up with the January 6 Insurrectionists

In honor of the first anniversary of the attack on the U.S. Capitol, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah caught up with a few of the rioters that made headlines that day, from Adam Johnson, who was famously photographed walking around with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's lectern, to Jacob Chansley, better known as the QAnon Shaman. As The Daily Show's yearbook-style recap makes clear, nearly all of the insurrectionists are facing criminal charges for their role in the takeover, while others like Sen. Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz await their fate. As for former President Donald Trump? "Yet to be held accountable for anything," writes Noah's team. "Planning his next coup attempt."
