Mark-Paul Gosselaar Reveals Zack & Kelly's First Kiss on Saved By The Bell Was His Second Kiss Ever

Five years ago, Jimmy Fallon finally was able to arrange a Saved By The Bell reunion on The Tonight Show, and it sparked renewed interest in the show that has culminated in the new reboot that just premiered on Peacock.

So it only makes sense that the same quartet — Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley, and Tiffani Thiessen — came back onto The Tonight Show to spill behind-the-scenes secrets from their run on the original series from 30 years ago.

Among the revelations:

• Zack and Kelly's first kiss on the show was Gosselaar's second kiss ever in his real life (his first being on Good Morning, Miss Bliss), and he said "I made sure I was wearing 2-ply underwear."
• Gosselaar hates watching his own work and has never re-watched any of the original Saved By The Bell episodes until now.
• Jessie Spano's caffeine pills were actually Red Hots.
