Disney+ Shares First Look at Marvel What If? Animated Series

Alternate realities are a staple of Marvel Comics, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe is going to be leaning into that in a big way.

The new What If? animated series, based on a Marvel Comics concept, tells tales of those alternate realities that diverge from the MCU we know, such as Peggy Carter becoming a super soldier instead of Steve Rogers, Yondu picking up T'Challa instead of Peter Quill, and Bucky Barnes taking on a zombie Captain America.

Marvel's What If? premieres Summer 2021 on Disney+.
