Edie Falco will play Pete Davidson's mom in the upcoming Peacock comedy series Bupkis, NBCUniversal announced at their upfront presentation on Monday.

Bupkis was picked up by Peacock in April and will be a fictionalized version of Davidson's real life.

Falco famously played Carmela Soprano on HBO's The Sopranos, after which she starred in Showtime's Nurse Jackie. At the NBC Universal upfront, Falco, referencing her role as Carmela, said to Davidson, “I’m so excited to be playing your mother in this show, Pete. Finally, I get to play an overwhelmed mother of two living in a world of corruption. Except this time, it’s Staten Island.”

Davidson added, “I can’t believe we are going to be on Peacock, the streamer that is responsible for so so many great shows like MacGruber and the reruns of The Office. So look out for our new show streaming on the ‘Cock.’”
