Gary Oldman is headed to Apple to star in his first TV series: Espionage drama Slow Horses

The Oscar-winning actor will make his regular TV series debut in the Apple TV+ drama based on Mick Herron's book series. Justified creator Graham Yost will serve as executive producer, while former Veep writer Will Smith will write the script and oversee the show. Slow Horses, Apple's latest international series, "follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 — Slough House," per The Hollywood Reporter. "Oldman will play Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but irascible leader of the spies who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes."
