CBS News fires its political director over alleged “inappropriate behavior”

CBS News wouldn’t offer any further detail on why longtime employee Steve Chaggaris was fired, but said that the allegations were brought to light shortly before the holidays. Chaggaris’ dismissal comes less than two months after CBS News dismissed Charlie Rose over sexual misconduct.
