Al Gore was "impressed" with South Park's apology for mocking him over climate change

The former vice president was asked about South Park's recent mea culpa on the animated show's network Comedy Central during an appearance on The Daily Show. “Honestly, I was so impressed," Gore said, in reaction to an audience member's question. "I don’t know these guys, Matt and Trey, and I kind of thought they were nihilists — but funny nihilists. I thought it was a hell of a statement by South Park and I appreciated it a lot.”
