Oprah Winfrey biographical documentary is in the works at Apple TV+

The team behind the Whitney Houston documentary Whitney is working on a two-part docuseries on the billionaire TV icon with Winfrey's Harpo production company. Winfrey is said to be a fun of Oscar winner Kevin MacDonald and Lisa Erspamer's film Whitney. "The new doc will chronicle 25 years of American history through the lens of one show and one woman who rose from humble roots to become a globally famous talk show host, producer, actress and philanthropist," per Deadline.
