David Alan Grier joins FX's The Patient, recurring opposite Steve Carell and Domhnall Gleeson

Grier's role on the limited half-hour series from The Americans' Joe Weisberg and Joel Fields is being kept under wraps. The Patient stars Carell as a psychotherapist who finds himself held prisoner by a serial killer, played by Gleeson.
