CBS says The Amazing Race will be back this season after a long pandemic delay

“The Amazing Race will be back this season,” CBS Entertainment's senior vice president of programming Thom Sherman said today. Season 33 had to halt production in March 2020 due to the pandemic after filming three episodes. Deadline reports that show is currently in pre-production. Filming The Amazing Race during a pandemic is more complicated than other reality shows because of the international travel.
